choc + pb tarts

If you are a peanut butter addict like me, you will LOVE these no bake choc + pb tarts. Not only are they delicious but they require no baking! You only need to set them in the freezer and they are ready to enjoy. I used two small mini tart trays to set these. You can double the recipe if you wish to make 4.


Makes 2 mini tarts

For the base:

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup oats

1/4 cup peanut butter

1 tbsp cacao butter*

Water as needed

For the filling & top:

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup dark chocolate


Granola, nuts, seeds or whatever you want to sprinkle on top

1️ In a blender combine the almonds & oats and pulse into a flour.

2️ Add the peanut butter, cacao butter and gradually add small amounts of water as you mix until it sticks together. You can sub cacao butter with coconut oil or just water.

3️ Press into tart tins, line them with baking paper so you can pull them out easily later. Freeze for 1 hour.

4️ Melt the peanut butter and pour into the tarts. Gently tap them against the kitchen bench to flatten the top. Freeze for 15 mins.

5️ Melt the chocolate and pour over the peanut butter, freeze for 5-10 mins until chocolate sets.

6️ Carefully and gently pull them out of the tins, you can leave them in the freezer for longer to set if you prefer. Sprinkle with nuts/seeds and enjoy!
