I actually love dates and often make my protein balls with them but I wanted to change things up a bit and make a date free version as I find dried fruit/dates can make me very bloated if I have too much of it.
These are salted caramel and peanut butter flavoured and are so delicious! I like to make a batch on a Sunday and keep them in the fridge for the week ahead. I made this with my vitamix but if you want to try this without a blender, you can get oat flour and almond flour and mix it all in a bowl.

RECIPE:
1 cup almonds 1 cup oats 1 scoop protein powder (I used Prana On in Salted Caramel flavour) 2 tbsp hemp seeds 2 tbsp chia seeds 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup cacao butter 1 tbsp maple syrup 1/2 cup desiccated coconut Water - as much as needed
1. In a blender, mix the almonds and oats until they break down into a flour. 2. Add the protein powder, chia and hemp seeds. 3️. Add the cacao butter, peanut butter and maple syrup. I heat them up in the microwave so they melt a little. 4️. Mix together in a blender and add small amounts of water as needed until it sticks together. 5️. Roll into balls using your hands and roll to coat in the coconut. Store in a container in the fridge for up to 5 days 🤩 ENJOY!
You can use any protein you like and if you would like them sweeter you can add more maple syrup.
