What's better than choc chip cookies? DOUBLE CHOC cookies of course!! These cookies are soft and chewy, perfect for a sweet treat or afternoon tea. They turn out perfect every time and taste even better the next day!

Recipe:
300g plain flour
225g caster sugar
220g vegan butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup vegan choc chips
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1. Soften the butter in a mixing bowl and then add the sugar, flour, baking powder and cocoa powder.
2. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract to form a soft dough. Fold in the chocolate chips.
3. Roll into small balls with your hands and flatten a little, then lay them on a lined baking tray.
4. Cook at 180 degrees celsius for 13-15 mins, then remove them and let them sit on the hot tray for a further 10 mins (they should be soft when you remove them from the oven, they will harden while sitting on the hot tray but still remain soft and chewy) Transfer to a cooling rack (gently) to let them cool completely. Enjoy!!
