During winter I get completely hooked on having oatmeal for breakfast. I can't get enough, it's so delicious, filling and warms me right up. I made these by blending some frozen berries and adding them to the oatmeal.
I like to use instant oats that cook in minutes in the microwave when I don't want to spend too much time cooking them on the stovetop.
1 cup instant oats 1 cup water
1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
1 scoop vanilla protein 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Toppings: 1 banana 1 tbsp peanut butter Granola Extra berries
In a small bowl combine the instant oats with the vanilla protein and cinnamon and mix.
I like to blend the berries with the water before adding to my berries but if you prefer you can just add it straight to the bowl and mix.
Once blended, add to the oats and mix through. Microwave for 2 mins or until oats are cooked.
Optional - top with a little plant milk and stir through.
Add your toppings like banana, berries, granola, peanut butter or anything else you love. Enjoy!
